EARLY DAYS OF SLASH: Ashley Lynn Maldano was born on December 12th, 1993 in Chicago, Illinois. She was raised on the southside of Chicago in a neighborhood called Englewood, one of the most dangerous and violent neighborhoods in the city. Her birth parents had given her up for adoption when she was just real young, leaving Nigel and Theresa Hamilton, a new to the neighborhood couple, to adopt Ashley. With those two making it official it had left her the younger sister of professional wrestler and pain in most people’s asses,Nicole Hamilton. The two were close growing up but the business quickly turned the two against each other.LET'S TAKE A JOURNEY: After struggling throughout high school Ashley decided she had to leave this life behind as she was destined for something better. While being in school, Ashley had trained for wrestling since it was a passion of hers since her adoptive father Nigel got her interested in it. Her hard work paid off as she eventually landed a contract with HKW Subversion, as well as working with SSWA at a young age with very little professional experience. With the courage of those she had met along the way, her love for the sport only grew with her skill. After months of working with that and chasing her dreams for gold, she realized she needed a bit more work. She decided to step down off the main roster and bring herself to HKW’s new product, RISE. Demoting herself down from the brand to the training academy was one of the hardest things she had done but it turned out for the best.

MAKING OF A SLASHER. Ashley was one of the original classes of RISE, being there from the day it started with one goal in mind. The RISE Championship. She didn’t show interest in anything else BUT that title, making her time there a constant chase. Having a lot to prove, Ashley gave it her all, overcoming any obstacle in front of her. Months and Months passed with feud after feud, winning the hearts even more of almost everyone in the crowd. Ashley always felt something was missing within her, considering it took her so long to get any success going. It took the wrong people catching Ashley at the right time for them to feed her mind with the amount of arrogance and confidence to help find that backbone and spine she was missing. Turning on the fans and people around her, a new flourished Ashley emerged to work harder, winning the RISE Championship. As it was near her end time with RISE, Ashley finally felt it was time to return back up and home to Subversion after being a draft right pick.IT'S ALL COMING BACK TO ME. Utilizing the tools she had learned from her teachers and peers, Ashley was determined to not make any of the same mistakes as before. She made her presence known immediately on the Subversion brand as she was the culprit who had attacked fellow wrestler Ashley Sullivan. Making her statement known that she was indeed coming back to her home rechasing her once goal of the Hybrid Championship, it was clear that Ashley had grown into the serious competitor that nobody saw her as before. After months of feuding, she was finally able to capture her goal of that championship. While working on Subversion, Ashley had also spent a brief amount of time at SAP, being successful in winning the North Atlantic Championship.

YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN KID. It wasn't long after Ashley had found success in SAP that she had hung up her wrestling boots due to a miracle in her personal life. Ashley had become pregnant with twins with her then husband at the time. Taking a step back from the ring and dealing with her personal life was the main focus of her life. After she had the twins, Ashley found herself itching to get back to the wrestling industry in any way she could. Accepting a position as a trainer at professional wrestler Tapp Addams wrestling school and managing two young up and coming wrestlers, it was only a matter of time before she found herself back in the loop. Months after those accomplishments, Ashley had launched her very own podcast Slashtalk. Finding herself again with her career, Ashley became more independent which resulted in the inevitable separation of her ticking time bomb of a risky marriage.SINNERS ARE WINNERS.  Taking a few months away from the spotlight to heal and recover, Ashley snapped back into her fierce self. After months away, The Southside Slugger made her return to professional wrestling. Various appearances including some in FGA managing her longtime best friend HENNY, the two eventually not only became a romantic item but a tag team as well. Forming the lethal dynamic duo of SIN, the pair wrestling as a tag team unit being successful in capturing the JurraSkye Tag team championships. Enjoying time back, it didn't last long as she found herself pregnant again.COMING SOON. Expecting another child, she has taken a step back from traveling. Ashley however, has not given up staying up to date on the wrestling industry. She stays manifesting a future back in the ring or somewhere with an interview microphone or commentary desk.

As the photographers capture more shots of Ashley, they back away as she skips down the ramp. Accepting the heat from the audience, it doesn’t phase her one bit as she mocks them on her way up to the ring.
